In this Valentine’s Day special (that’s a lie, I don’t even reference it) I talk about about getting chapter 23 signed off and some TV I’ve been watching.

I tell you what I thought about the latest episode of Star Trek: StarFleet Academy (don’t worry, no spoilers) as well as book club and what I did yesterday. No writing, sorry, hopefully tomorrow.

Not only did I get rid of my old bed today (complete with the mattress and its giant green condom) I also had a new one delivered and got about 1500 words written.

I talk about feedback I got today on Empress of the Trees from my friend MJ, a bridal seamstress, check out her social media (Facebook: MJMakes Bridal Seamstress or Instagram: mjmakesbridalseamstress) or her website. I also talk about preparing my old bed for collection and recycling in preparation for my new bed being delivered, and finally about the scene I wrote for Self Portrait today. And that, your honour, is why the show overran today!

I did some writing when I wasn’t really in the mood to, and actually it was okay!
