I’m annoyed. It probably shows in the content of today’s podcast! (Don’t worry I don’t swear a lot).

I talk about how I’ve finally got the scene I’ve been struggling with in chapter 6 of “Self Portrait” written here in Amman, Jordan, and then I’m about to waffle on about something else when my doorbell goes which saves you from it!

Not sure why I've never done this before really, today's podcast was recorded during a break on my flight! And uploaded that way too!

I tell you about my day, and explain the title of the episode…

I’ll tell you what I’ve done for the last few days, including not writing anything today.

I talk about an issue I’ve had with my car, and about some music I’ve listened to, as well as announcing a short break, I will be back on the 17th.

I talk about the one occasion (so far) where I have used a real person, sadly no longer with us, as a character in a story.

I’m back home and absolutely shattered so much of what I planned to do today is not going to happen.

In what will hopefully be my final update on this trip away, I talk about the fact I’ve started work on chapter 5 of Self Portrait. I’ve also decided to recommend a song for you to listen to. The clue is in the title (well, it’s not really a clue; the title is in the title!) Pulp!

I walked for quite a few miles in Singapore and then finally signed off chapter 4.
