Not much writing to talk about today so I blather on about one of my favourite authors, Haruki Murakami.

I finished the first version of chapter 37 today, so here I waffle on about that rather a lot and then go on about why I like these characters so much. And also some of the things that happened in the story that I hadn’t planned for, why they initially frustrated me and why I now think they are the best bit in the story. Sorry, I do go on a bit!

Finally, a very productive day in which I almost finish chapter 37!

My (rather negative) thoughts about the fact that an orange convicted bellend felon now seems to be the leader of the free world.

I tell you about the moment where I finally understood who my main character, Ronnie, was in the book I am currently writing (Empress Of The Trees) - it only took me five years to figure her out!
