Weasley's long-awaited cat door has finally been installed, but instead of celebrating his new freedom, he's convinced he's become part of a sinister surveillance network. Between internet-connected pet doors, disappearing dirt-boxes and Squeak's suspicious enthusiasm for modern technology, Weasley begins to fear that becoming an "Authorised Pet" comes with rather more strings attached than he'd bargained for.

🐾 Weasley thought the worst was over after moving house.

He'd finally been allowed outside to explore his new neighbourhood... until a confrontation with a mysterious tabby cat sent him running in blind panic. Before long, he finds himself back at his old home, living off compost-bin leftovers, avoiding capture, and becoming the subject of a full-scale search across Diamond Harbour.

Meanwhile, Facebook detectives, well-meaning neighbours, and even a cat trap all become part of the hunt for the harbour's favourite missing ginger cat.

During the Covid-19 lockdown, Serafina’s carefully managed isolation bubble begins to unravel—first with arguments about dogs breaking the rules, then an unexpected barbecue disaster, surprise visitors, too much catnip, too much gin, and one truly regrettable party that ends with Meghan vomiting on Weasley’s brand-new cat bed.
