In this first session on the Father Heart of God, Dick shares his story of how he went from a lost, disillusioned young man to a man saved by Jesus, healed by the Holy Spirit, and deeply loved by the Father. He introduces God the Father in John chapter 1, where He makes the greatest offer any human can receive: the right to become a child of God. God sets a table before us, offering all the grace we need to obey Him in every season of life: in our work, in our marriages, and even as we age in our final days.

This is part 4 of 4 in a series on fellowship. God wants us to be bonded together, and sometimes He gives us release from sin in a special way when we confess to one another. This is part 2 of 4 in a series on fellowship. In this episode, Dick expounds two expressions of what fellowship looks like in practice: acceptance and love. Acceptance of others mirrors the way Jesus doesn't expect us to transform ourselves before coming into relationship with Him. We are called to identify with their humanity, approving them while not affirming their sin. Love reflects the way we love God, fervently, specifically, attentively. We seek and work toward the best of others, looking for the tangible evidence of love in our lives displayed by the charactistics of love in 1 Corinthians 13.
