This week I wanted to share some recent experiences I’ve had that have really deepened my awareness around the difference between inner confidence and external confidence. I used to get told “wow you’re such a confident person” and I guess I was on the outside, but on the inside I had a lot of self doubt and anxiety within me. In my body of work, I share a lot about inner confidence and most recently I’ve created a short course around cultivating your inner confidence. While creating the course, it gave me some time to reflect on my past and present connection to confidence. 

In this episode I chat about 

• Finding the balance between your internal and external life and allowing yourself to be as you are without considering putting on a persona to please others. 
• A recent experience where I was met with unsolicited advice and judgement
• Feeling your energy build up and calling on specific voices to help guide you while being your true self.
• Navigating your reactivity.
• Being able to understand, acknowledge and hold yourself during times where other voices want to protect and defend you.
