Chris Korman not only is the son of the late Actor and Comedian, Harvey Korman, he is an advocate for kids with learning disabilities. Chris shares a small part of his story on today's episode. One of my favorite parts of the episode is when he says "My Father, Harvey Korman, was a father first".

Ayesis Clay is a unicorn (former) teacher and that's an understatement! She shares her story of becoming a teacher and working in the education system for many years. Ayesis talks about how secondary trauma and burnout became her reality as a teacher.

Ayesis was not only an incredible teacher, she in an incredible artist through and through! Writing a play was therapy for her AND lucky us, she shared a sneak peek of her performance in today's Episode! The education system has not changed in MANY years... like way too many years. Unfortunately we are still teaching inside of a box. Where all kids need to learn the "same way" when in reality everyone learns differently! 

I'm here to Respectfully disrupt the education system! It's time we stop trying to put kids inside of a box to learn and let's break down those box walls and teach kids they way the need to be taught... Differently! 

No pointing fingers here! It's up to all of us to come together and work together to make this change, for the children!
