God hates divorce (Mal 2:16), so we must understand that divorce is never to be thought of as God-ordained or even as a morally neutral option. Divorce exists because we as human beings are capable of incredible selfishness and debauchery and hardness of heart. It exists only as a concession under the most extreme circumstances to keep greater sins against God from being perpetrated. In this sermon, we explore the biblical teaching on this difficult question.
