The founder’s vision and mission is important, but it can’t be something to “over rotate” on, as it won’t get the sellers paid. 
• “Tell me the story of this logo.” - Details are gold. Generalities? Red flag. Sellers taking quick wins and shortcuts will not land enduring partnerships. Sellers taking the long, thoughtful, strategic route? Maybe they’ve got a shot.

Yes, heavy regulation increases risk, but it also increases possible return.

If I was an energetic entrepreneur looking for a new project, I’d hang out around a university ecosystem and dig for a project worth scaling.
