Prof Ooi co-directs the Viral Research and Experimental Medicine Centre at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre. He is also a professor at Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, and the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the National University of Singapore. Prof Ooi also introduces an upcoming COVID19 vaccine, LUNAR-COV19, which he is co-developing with American pharmaceutical company Arcturus Therapeutics.
