In West Point's proud history, there has only been one cadet to serve as class president, captain of the football team, 'Star Man' (top 5% of class) and Brigade Commander...Pete Dawkins held these titles while managing to win the Heisman and Maxwell awards as well as a Rhodes Scholarship.
In Part One of a two-part interview, General Dawkins talks about his childhood, winning the Heisman and joining the Heisman fraternity and how he juggled his responsibilities at West Point.
Part Two will post Wednesday, 25 January.
