The world was made by God, who is loving, eternal, all-powerful, and Triune. And He made it "very good," but what does that mean for us?

The Bible does not begin with commands or rules—it begins with a story. A story of God speaking light into darkness and repeatedly declaring His creation "good".

In this sermon from Genesis 1:3–31, Pastor Jason Barnett explores the theological meaning of creation, focusing not on scientific debates, but on what the opening chapter of Scripture reveals about God’s sovereignty, goodness, and purpose. From God’s authority in naming creation to humanity’s calling as stewards made in God’s image, this message traces how the world was created very good—and why that still matters today.

While sin has fractured creation and distorted what God declared good, the story does not end there. Scripture points toward restoration, renewal, and the hope that through Jesus Christ, God is reclaiming what was always meant to be whole.

If you are wrestling with brokenness, shame, or the feeling that something has been lost, this sermon invites you to rediscover the goodness of God and the promise of renewal that begins now and is fulfilled in Christ.

What does the Bible tell us about God before anything exists?

In this sermon on Genesis 1:1–2, we explore the opening verses of Scripture and what they reveal about God’s character. Before creation takes shape, the Spirit of God is present—hovering over what is formless and void, ready to bring life, order, and purpose out of chaos.

This message looks at how God is eternal, powerful, loving, and present from the very beginning—and how humanity’s rebellion fractured that original design. Sin did not just affect Adam and Eve; it disrupted the entire human story, leaving us unable to restore ourselves to God on our own.

From the first pages of the Bible, this sermon points us forward to Jesus Christ, the good news of redemption. The same God who hovered over creation moves toward us in love, calling us to repent, believe the gospel, and allow the Holy Spirit to bring new life where there has been emptiness.

Do you know if you will go to heaven when you die? That is our go to question for evangelism. But is that what Christianity is really all about?

Everywhere we turn, there is someone telling us what a "good Christian" must not do. But what does the Bible say about what a Christian--what a follower of Jesus MUST DO? And what happens when the members of the body fail to fulfill this duty? What is your church's responsibility? What is your pastor's responsibility? And what are YOU going to do about it?  Pastor Nicole shares from Ephesians 4:11-16.

As one of the king's men, Daniel was trustworthy and loyal. So how does he end up in a lions' den? And how does that answer the question: What does holy living look like?
