The season 2 finale starts out with some positive news coming out of WISSOTA. A social media campaign calling for sponsors appears to be somewhat successful in generating cash for the organization, but what does that look like long term? Some schedules have been released for the upcoming racing season for the Challenge Series and Street Stock Tour, as local tracks look to get things finalized. The guys discuss the massive purse for the modifieds at Mississippi Thunder in June along with some changes to the Lucas Oil format. We round out season 2 with picks for the Gateway Dirt Nationals at the dome. Thanks for your support this season!

The Dirt comes back after a bit of a hiatus, as the boys have been busy. Dan provides his dire deer hunting report after getting skunked this season. A quick recap of the world championships leads into the turkey and gravy of this week’s episode, the WISSOTA annual meeting, but only after Dan cracks a diet Miller. Rod Lindquist’s resignation is discussed, and the guys thank him for stepping up and taking on a tough role for the last couple of years. A large financial loss for the W this year prompts Dan to crack his 2nd diet Miller, as he raises the question on where the money went. The approved rule changes are gone over, and we round out the 2nd to last episode of season 2 with the racing events taking place over the next week.

This one starts out spicy, as the guys talk about the requested payment by FYE Motorsports due to Red Cedar rescheduling the Punky Manor, with WISSOTA approval, to the same weekend as FYE’s CAN-AM Clash, both of which were rained out! The glaring conflict of interest is once again explored and Dan’s opinion on the matter is voiced. Potential WISSOTA rule changes are contemplated, and the upcoming event at Eldora is previewed, as the guys make their picks on who will take it all!

After a week off due to producer Brandon being in Boone for the IMCA Super Nationals, the show picks up with that very event, discussing the ins and outs of the production, format, and contingency prizes. A quick recap of the last couple of weeks of local events leads into this week’s Wissota 100 show. Jeff gives overall feedback on day 1 of the 100 from an in-person perspective and the guys voice frustration over track conditions and the effect that has on the quality of the heat races.
