Episode 10! It has gone by really fast but 10 down, a ton more to go. In this show I sat down with my first Woman, Serena Pruett from SDHQ on The Dirty Duner Show! Serena has a love for vehicles, and trucks in general. She really knows her stuff! She is the operations manager over at SDHQ, and pretty much the face of the company! She talks about how she started at SDHQ, how he has moved her way up through the business, and what SDHQ's future looks like. She has had a ton of vehicles, and we get into those as well. All of my interviews have been my favorite, but Jeff Lievense is truly someone I idolize and look up to. I have followed him through social media for a few years and when I got the chance to interview him I was beyond excited. Jeff has a pretty cool background in the Dune and Dirt world and has made a huge name for himself. He is a Steam Engineer full time, but also runs a very successful Prep/Transportation business. We chat about how things changed for him after installing a fire suppression system in a Sandcar. How his electrician moved to AZ, and works for one of my favorite truck builders Delmo. He talks about how he got his start in the design world, he taught himself how to design, print, and run a business. We talk about how he was frustrated with other brands of graphics, so just decided to do them himself. What work do they do? Everything Print! We also go deeper than that and talk about his drive, and passion for what he does. He really wants to see his business do well and is making the extra steps to put it there. How people can boost a business with a simple window wrap or full wrap. Whats next for Five18, went from 1-2 part time employees to 5-6 employees in a matter of weeks. I have been wanting to interview Doug since I started this show. This is a rad interview for me because my first job in High School was working at Tyco Trailers which is now TMW offroad. I sat down with Doug and we talked about a ton of things involving the Dune and Dirt world. Doug introduced me to the sand dunes. He is one of the biggest names in the SXS industry. We talk about his different way of thinking, his crazy projects he has had come through his shop, the relationships he has with other companies. We also chat about where he thinks the industry is going, is it going to break that 1000cc mark anytime soon? He was featured on multiple episodes of Destination Polaris, the tv show. We also chat about his production process, and how the company has grown over the years, along with future plans.
