   1. The real battle ended up being between Jessica Weese and Lisa Fajkus which ended up in a tie for 2nd

      1. Video playback does show he was way over a foot behind his marker, definitely over the allowed distance in which your foot needs to be close to the marker
   2. Controversy - Big call by Locastro on a foot fault at hole 12 by Ricky but no one seconds the call.
   1. Simon and Eagle give themselves a little cushion in 1st and 2nd place going into the final round
   2. Paul McBeth did not look like himself as his putts were a bit off and ends up falling off the lead card
   3. James Conrad jumps to the lead card
   1. Nate Sexton hold on to 3rd place
   2. Conrad has quite a few unlucky breaks and falls quite a ways back
   3. Eagle puts the pressure on Simon on the front 9 and ties him at one point
   4. Simon gets a cushion on the back nine and holds off Eagle for the win

During the 2017 Disc Golf Pro Tour, there were only 6 players that had less than 40% pars. These also happen to be the more aggressive players that most often go for birdie or bogey.

Anthony Barela (34%) had the second fewest pars (after Eagle at 33%). Anthony was also #1 for Parked and Circle 1 in Regulation!

This goes to show you that there is a give and take for being aggressive and the overall outcome of your game, as Barela finished the 2017 DGPT in 43rd, while Eagle finished in 15th.

Also, Ricky Wysocki who finished in 1st for the DGPT had 36% Pars, and Paul McBeth who took 2nd also had 36% Pars.

Round 1
Jeremy Koling proves why he won last year by leading after the first round at -9
There were a total of 10 eagles during round 1, 3 of them by Kevin Jones
Round 2
Apparently there was a slight altercation between Barsby and the spotter for hole 17
His first shot rolled OB, the spotter didn’t retrieve his disc before it floated away and Barsby was very irritated
Barsby ended shooting a double bogey and at the time was in 1st by 2 strokes
Nate Sexton shoots hot round of -9 to take the lead over Koling by one stroke
Three way tie for 3rd between Owens, Barsby, and Wysocki, two back of Big Jerm

AJ was put on the lead card, Sexton on chase card
Sexton has the lower PDGA number
Duvall stated via DGCR that they had an issue when sorting ties out after round 1. Round 2 tee times were already posted before they found the error and felt it easier to go with already posted tee times

Sexton and Wysocki both shoot a -10 for the Moving Day hot round
Nate holds on to 1st place with a 3 stroke lead over Wysocki

Sexton finally win his first well-deserved Major event and is the new USDGC Champion!

Winners: Ricky Wysocki and Catrina Allen
Wysocki was able to win a playoff between himself, McBeth, and Lizotte in a sudden death playoff.
McBeth and Lizotte tied for 2nd

National Tour Points Winners
Paige Pierce take the NT points win by 14 points over Catrina Allen
McBeth holds onto the NT points win by just 5 points over Wysocki

DGPT Championships presented by Prodigy
Paige Pierce was able to add another win to her total for 2017 as well as the DGPT points win
As the field shrank down to the final 5 in the men’s division, the battle came down to McBeth and Wysocki once again
McBeth’s drive on hole 18 put him in early trouble from which he wasn’t able to recover, leaving him tied with Lizotte for 2nd and giving Wysocki the win and the overall DGPT points win as well
