Steve and Simon were joined this time by Suzie Judd for 'The Disciple' Livecast.
Suzie and her husband Matt live in Augusta, Georgia, US where together, they’ve pastored Good News Church for 25 years and have four adult children.
Suzie’s main focus these days is equipping disciple-makers. Her passion is seeing believers embrace and engage in God’s mission as they lay down their lives in obedience to Him. She has a passion for releasing ordinary believers into the extraordinary prayer needed to see disciples making disciples and now serves as a coach with the eLife network of movement catalysts who work together to pursue Disciple-Making Movements.
This week Simon Holley and Steve Wilson connected with Chris Galanos.
Chris is the pastor of Experience Life in Texas, recently listed as one of the fastest growing churches in the US which was founded in Chris’ living room in 2007.
Experience Life’s original prayer was for 10,000 people to commit their lives to Jesus in 10 years. After the Lord answered that prayer in year 8, they believed the Lord was leading them to pray for 1,000,000 people to become disciples of Jesus in the next 10 years. As a result, they began a bold transition from a “megachurch” model to a “multiplication” model. Chris wrote the story in his book ‘From Megachurch to Multiplication’.
Steve Wilson is back for the first instalment of season two of ‘The Disciple’ livecast. This time hes connects with Carl Beech.
Carl is an inspirational guy, with a passion for equipping the church and reaching the lost. Some people would know him as an evangelist, some a church leader and some for the many pioneering activities that he’s been involved in over many years including Christian Vision for Men, Edge Ministries, the Proclaim Trust or The Gathering.
He’s been a financial advisor, author, podcaster, church planter, youth worker, senior pastor of a large multi-congregational church and marathon runner. We’ve no doubt you’ll enjoy hearing his down to earth approach and refreshing simplicity of reaching out to those around us to see disciples who make disciples.
Steve Wilson and Simon Holley are back with the next instalment of ‘The Disciple’ livecast. This week they connect with and learn from the inspirational Scott McNamara.
Steve Wilson and Simon Holley were joined this week by the inspirational C Anderson.
C was born in the midst of a civil war in Nigeria. Growing up in Ghana and Liberia, she moved back to the United States in her early teens and studied cross-cultural communication and later a Master’s degree in Global Leadership. She and her husband have lived the past 27 years in Asia, with three adult children born in the mountain nation of Nepal, they now reside most of the time in Thailand. She is especially passionate about training, coaching, inspiring, equipping and walking alongside indigenous church planters.
By God’s grace, she has been privileged to play a key role in catalysing several significant and growing disciple making movements in Asian nations. Though she speaks in conferences globally, she most enjoys the hands-on making disciples among the unreached in a local context.
