We are deeply loved by Christ. As our revelation of His love for us grows, our identity will be more and more defined by His love. John, the apostle, is our example when it comes to live defined by the love of Christ. Even though John was one of the twelve apostles, one of the authors of the New Testament and operated in a powerful prophetiv ministry, he refers to himself as the disciple whom Jesus loves. In the same way, we find our identity and purpose in being loved by Jesus, because we truly are the disciples whom He loves!
