Take a look at the women and men around you; what do you see?
In my life and in those connected to me by varying degrees, I see an epidemic of both incompatibility in romantic relationships and the perpetuation of karmic cycles, wherein both parties commit the sins of parents past.
There is a danger in convincing ourselves it is okay to deviate from what we truly desire—in both life and love.
There is a danger in “Riding in Cars with Boys” and in growing up faster than we need to.
In this special episode, we are going to use both Beverly Donofrio’s memoir “Riding in Cars with Boys” and Tracy Chapman’s song “Fast Car” to discuss:
* How daughters with absent fathers—be they emotionally absent or physically so—are at an increased risk for partnering with unavailable men.
* Why every woman needs a divine masculine protector in her life.
* Why every woman must resist the wounded feminine urge to save and dominate the men in their lives.
* How many women commit four body crimes by being with men they do not truly love.
* And how to find freedom from our fathers’ failures and align ourselves with divine, sacred love.
