Wooli on the On Locations Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions at Decadence 12/30/22   About Wooli - Wooli’s mammoth bass music imprint twists harmonic sounds into a grimy discography of varying tastes. Blending icy compositions with fiery drops, his prehistoric mark captures millions of listeners through immersive performances and heavy bass. With a dynamic suite of releases spanning Monstercat, Never Say Die, Ophelia and Subsidia and has collaborated with some of EDM’s most popular vocalists and heavy hitters. Wooli’s tracks with Seven Lions, HALIENE, Amidy and Trivecta have perfected euphonic realms, while his Evolution EP with Excision sparked anthems for aggressive crowds. Island (feat. Nevve) and Another Me (with Dylan Matthew) top off a collection of originals that have cemented him in charts. Gaining notoriety from the Mammoth EP (2018) and The Cave EP (2017), Wooli’s signature sounds feature sing-along verses and enthralling pounds. Wooli’s monumental performances draw religious crowds at festival stages like EDC Las Vegas, Lollapalooza, Electric Zoo, Lost Lands and more. Writing history, Wooli’s Destination Tour (2021-22), spanned 32 dates across North America’s biggest cities, solidifying his place as a leader within the scene. From primeval performances to melodic masterpieces, Wooli is commanding bass music’s future as one of this generation’s most compelling acts.   About The DJ Sessions - “The DJ Sessions” is a Twitch/Mixcloud "Featured Partner” live streaming/podcast series featuring electronic music DJ’s/Producers via live mixes/interviews and streamed/distributed to a global audience. Moon Beats on the On Locations Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions at Decadence 12/30/22   About Moon Boots - Moon Boots and Pete Dougherty are technically the same person, but in many ways, the two couldn’t be more different. The former is a globe-trotting extrovert whose genre-hopping (but always funky) DJ sets reliably fill dancefloors around the world. The latter is a relatively shy dude with a studio tan who has been geeking out on synths since he was a teenager. Born in Brooklyn, Pete spent his adolescence in the suburbs. Early formative musical memories include MFSB’s “Love Is The Message” at block parties and years jamming to Daft Punk in the barn with a blacklight on. Pete moved to Chicago after college. The city transformed Pete and after a few years playing in the band Hey Champ, Moon Boots was born with series of releases for French Express. Quickly leveling up his craft, Pete signed with Anjunadeep and moved back to Brooklyn. The first Moon Boots album, First Landing, arrived in 2017, and was followed two years later by Bimini Road. Emphasizing melody while blending elements of house, disco, soul and R&B, both records were widely embraced – with over 100 million streams – and as they picked up steam, so did Moon Boots’ DJ schedule. Over the years, the versatile selector has found himself playing everywhere from dimly lit clubs to massive festivals, but regardless of where the DJ booth is located, his objective remains the same: to keep people dancing, preferably with a giant smile on their face. Moon Boots’ third album is now in the can, and will surface on Anjunadeep next year, as is a revamped Moon Boots live show, one in which Dougherty will showcase his musical chops while touring and performing with a full band. In a way, those shows (which are slated to begin in 2023) might be what finally puts the Dougherty / Moon Boots split to bed, allowing the timid musical whiz kid to step into the spotlight and assume his rightful place as the life of the party.   About The DJ Sessions - “The DJ Sessions” is a Twitch/Mixcloud "Featured Partner” live streaming/podcast series featuring electronic music DJ’s/Producers via live mixes/interviews and streamed/distributed to a global audience. Teenage Mutants on the On Location Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 12/3/22   About Teenage Mutants - It feels real, Teenage Mutants are always there, inexorably moving forward. An exciting adventure, a project where two German friends –Christian and Fabio- began by holding a party in Hamburg (Baumhaus at famous Reeperbahn) and now it has become an unbounded creativity and scope duo with the purposed to make us spinning with their particular ‘Techno With Drama’ doctrine.   The duo represent a generation of DJ/Producers who don't need to attend any musical rules, just carve in their main passion and provides a fresh listening to the techno circuit audience. Heady, inspired and hypnotic sounds to always techno’s vibrant culture. Demanding people, no doubt! Although they have released first-class music on top-notch labels such as Filth On Acid, Terminal M, Tronic, 1605 or Noir Music, their current real aim is to continue conquering the worldwide clubbing field with their own imprint TRAGEDIE. They are ready -and more than even before by having full creative control- to explore, elevate and display their fine-tuned signature sound to the next level.   “Excellence is never an accident… choice, not chance, determines your destiny.”

DiskoKitty on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 1:30pm PST 11/23/22   About DiskoKitty - I am a musician, producer, singer, piano player and DJ. I try to get in your head a different way. I want you to love a song you used to hate.   I currently am writing and remixing my own tracks and DJ for special events utilizing and spanning a multitude of genres. This is the main page where I put my mixes from some of those events. Some noteworthy events are atop the Chase float at the Pride Parade with 1.1 million in attendance, several Burning Mans, Nasty Women Art Show fundraiser for Planned Parenthood, House of Blues, and I was invited by VH1 to try out for Master of the Mix.   The best way to describe my style is funky. First and foremost I am a junglist. But I do work as an open format DJ. My influences and my favorite folders are: Hip Hop Originals, Latin Funk, Breakbeats, Funk and Soul. You can call my mixes mood mixes, or party jams. They all tell stories. diskokitty.com       About The DJ Sessions - “The DJ Sessions” is a Twitch/Mixcloud "Featured Partner” live streaming/podcast series featuring electronic music DJ’s/Producers via live mixes/interviews and streamed/distributed to a global audience. Simply City on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 11/10/22   About Simply City -   Chilean-born DJ/Producer SIMPLY CITY began his music career embedded in clubs and raves in his native city of Santiago under the alias Cesar “Bass” Romero. After developing a reputation as one of the most in-demand DJ’s in his home country, Cesar left Chile to begin touring across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and North America in the pursuit of launching his DJ career.   Cesar then spent many years traveling and touring the world internationally as a DJ. It was Montreal, however, where he decided to root himself after much time abroad. Here, he gained a coveted spot as a resident at Montreal's world famous Stereo Afterhours, where he’s been engaging crowds and developing his sound for over 10 years.   Stereo’s globally recognized sound system, acoustic space, and dedicated club-goers gave Cesar the opportunity not only to apply his breadth of experience as a career DJ, but also to explore a variety of new musical territories. At Stereo, Cesar never fails to flex his mixing skills to an audience of “stereo-heads”; always taking them on truly sonic and atmospheric journeys through his music. Ferry Corsten on the On Location Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions at ADE 10/21/22   About Ferry Corsten -   Hailing from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, Ferry Corsten’s illustrious career is exemplified by a passion for music that began as a hobby and spiraled into a full-blown profession, as he continues to push the boundaries of electronic music.   This is exemplified by Ferry Corsten’ recently released ambient album, ‘As Above So Below’ under his FERR By Ferry Corsten alias, a personal project which allowed him to further explore his love for orchestral music that evolved from his long-running Stillpoint playlist. Ferry’s love for cinematic sounds has long been present in his music, as the iconic Rotterdam native signed off on his 5th artist album as Ferry Corsten – Blueprint. In 2017 This interstellar storyline-driven epic is something unlike any Ferry Corsten record before and preceded the release of Ferry’s first soundtrack early last year, composing the score for David Gleeson’s late-2018 thriller ‘Don’t Go’.   2019 also saw Ferry continue with his UNITY project, a concept launched in 2018 that has seen Ferry collaborate with iconic trance acts throughout the year with the vision of uniting the Trance community for a bigger cause. Ferry has partnered with VH1’s Save The Music Foundation, an organization formed to reinstate music programs for children, which has helped 2,100 schools to date. These high-profile UNITY collaborations include works with Paul Oakenfold, Ilan Bluestone, Gabriel & Dresden, Sander van Doorn under his Purple Haze alias, and most recently with Ciaran McAuley on ‘Mo Chara’. 2019 also saw Ferry place in DJ Mag’s Top100DJs poll for the 8th consecutive year, rising 15 places to #59 and extending his position as the longest serving Dutch DJ in the poll; capping what was an impressive year.    Ferry has been consistently at the top of his game since his sophomoric album under the System F alias ‘Out of The Blue’ in 1999, with the title track charting in the UK Top 20 singles chart. He’s continued this success with numerous remix requests, including remixes for U2, Moby, Faithless, Duran Duran and Public Enemy. Ferry also partnered with Tiësto around this time for the now legendary Gouryella handle, a project Ferry relaunched in 2016 with the hugely popular ‘Anahera’ single, and later a Gouryella 2.0 Live show gracing the stages of EDC, Ultra, Tomorrowland and more. Ferry himself graced the stage with standout shows at the likes of Parookaville, EDC Las Vegas and Tomorrowland last year. Ferry also debuted his System F live show in November 2018 at Dreamstate SoCal to mark 20 years of ‘Out of The Blue’ and has since taken it worldwide to the likes of Electronic Family and Transmission. Ferry also recently announced his WHAT THE F concept, unifying his System F, Gouryella and Ferry Corsten aliases for a series of intimate open-to-close exclusive sets, comprised of solely his own material, across the world in the coming months.   Ferry continues to break new ground in the trance world and beyond, demonstrated by his nomination for ‘Best Trance DJ’ at the 2018 DJ Awards and more recently winning the prestigious ‘Legacy Award’ at the 2019 edition of the International Dance Music Awards (IDMA’s) in Miami during Miami Music Week.   Alongside hit global exploits as a DJ, chart scaling achievements in the studio, Ferry continues to have a day-to-day involvement in his Flashover Recordings imprint, recently partnering with Armada Music for future releases. Launched back in 2005, Ferry’s label enables him to scour the world for fresh talent and release music by cutting-edge producers, giving them a voice on the world stage, alongside hosting his own label parties everywhere from Amsterdam Dance Event to Miami Music Week.   About The DJ Sessions - “The DJ Sessions” is a Twitch/Mixcloud "Featured Partner” live streaming/podcast series featuring electronic music DJ’s/Producers via live mixes/interviews and streamed/distributed to a global audience.
