Avian Invasion on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 5/12/22

About Avian Invasion - 

Avian Invasion used to be just a man, but a very old one. As he grew older, vital functions began to fail: He lost the ability to hope and, with it, the ability to dream. His eyes began to fail, so all he could see was darkness and fear. His hearing faded to a point where every new song only sounded “not as good as music used to be.”

All of this took a toll on his heart, until eventually that too threatened to break.

One day, when it seemed he would finally just wither and turn to dust, he was given a great gift. He was rebuilt, piece by piece… the broken parts replaced, the damaged parts repaired. Now he isn’t entirely a man, but not entirely a machine either.

He is simply Avian Invasion, and all he can see now is hope. The Bird’s melody-driven, dynamic performances have been showcased at venues like The Underground and Rendezvous in Seattle.

About Eric Sharp -

Eric Sharp combines a conscientious mindset with unshakable musical passion. 

As a DJ, Eric has brought his own style of intelligent, sophisticated, somatic house music comfortably to intimate private parties, club nights, and massive festivals alike - most recently being tapped for a residency at LA’s esteemed Sound Nightclub. With his personal productions, Eric has expanded his impact beyond simply a purveyor of taste and into a true creator.

In 2013, Sharp signed to Win Music (home of Duke Dumont, Tiga, and more) and released his EP “Sharp Cuts.” Fronted by vocals from Anna Lunoe and others, the release of these songs cemented Eric as a true artist. He has continued to build upon this foundation with remixes for Atlantic Records' Melanie Martinez, Major Lazer's Jillionaire, and Grammy winners Jars Of Clay.

2018 saw Eric's music reach new heights, smashing previous plateaus with the release of his Eric Sharp & Friends EP via Little Assembly. His productions remain widely lauded in press, with Take This Time holding the #1 spot on Hype Machine for 3 days and Too Much also hitting the top 20. In 2019 Eric released Monday Blues via Sweden’s House Music With Love imprint, again topping Hype Machine and amassing over 450k Spotify streams.

About Party Shirt - 

Before topping the TikTok pop chart, Party Shirt was born when Xavier Di Petta (“X”) and Nick Iavarone (“Ivy”) met in a USC dorm room in the summer of 2016. The two music producers immediately knew they wanted to work together after bonding over a mutual appreciation for music, acting, and fashion. 

They began partnering on music projects, forming a DJ duo and released the first single off their EP Liquid Powder under the name Party Shirt. Their debut single "Dancing Tonight" hit No. 1 on the TikTok pop chart. Since then, the song has been featured in more than 50,000 TikTok videos and has accumulated more than 200 million views. 

When the pandemic hit, being entertainers at heart, they turned to TikTok. After they gained followers by posting their music on the app, they began producing the “Fact or Cap” series. They became one of fastest growing creators on the platform and they currently have over 20.9 million TikTok fans. They also became popular on Instagram gaining 400K followers. 

They have been featured in several online publications and have appeared on several podcasts. Party Shirt had also launched their NFT project called SUPERSTARS which is designed to empower content creators of all kinds to do what they love and to inspire their community. And recently, they started their own podcast called IDK Tho. It is about just two 20-somethings navigating life, love, and the pursuit of happiness in a crazy, mixed-up world.

About CHRIS138 -

Chris Roeder, known as CHRIS138. was born and raised in Southern California and made his way up to the PNW in 2015. He first grew a love for trance music listening to Tiesto’s “Elements of Life” album, and since then, his passion has grown from listening to mixing.

Over time, his music taste has diversified and he now mixes anything including Trance, Deep House, and Tech House. The 138 in his name stands for 138 beats per minute commonly found in trance, as his trance sets contain emotion and energy flowing throughout the mix.

One of his favorite parts about being an artist is interacting with the crowd and conversing with fans. As an avid concert-goer and participant within the electronic dance music scene, he understands and appreciates the fan side and welcomes anyone who wishes to learn more about the music he plays. We have recently launched v3.1 our website that now features our current live streams/past episodes in a much more user-friendly mobile/social environment. In addition to the new site, there will be a mobile app (Apple/Android) and VR Nightclub (Oculus) coming soon.
