In this episode, I am joined by the beautiful, resilient, and incredibly brave Nicole Kennedy as she shares her raw and deeply personal journey through miscarriage, fertility struggles, and the unexpected road to motherhood.
Nicole's story is one of incredible strength and resilience and will truly leave you lost for words.
After experiencing three heartbreaking miscarriages and being knocked down time and time again throughout her journey to conceive, she opens up about the emotional rollercoaster of infertility, pregnancy loss, and finding the courage to keep moving forward when life felt incredibly unfair.
Together, we talk about the grief that so many people experience silently, the emotional impact of trying to conceive, diminished ovarian reserve, the experience of going through IUI, and what it feels like to keep hoping after repeated heartbreak.
Nicole shares what helped her survive some of her darkest moments, including the importance of compassion, faith, mental health, community, and having people simply show up and be present.
We also discuss how to truly support someone going through miscarriage or infertility, why there are no perfect words during times of loss, and the importance of acknowledging the emotional journey behind these experiences.
Nicole’s story is a powerful reminder of the strength of the human spirit, the importance of hope, and the unexpected twists life can bring when you have walked through unimaginable challenges.
Whether you have experienced miscarriage, infertility, pregnancy loss, are currently trying to conceive, or are supporting someone you love through this journey, this conversation offers comfort, understanding, and the reminder that you are never alone.
Trigger warning: This episode contains discussions around miscarriage, infertility, pregnancy loss, and emotional trauma.

In this episode I am joined by Orla O’Flaherty, naturopath, herbalist, nutritionist and somatic embodiment facilitator.
We talk about her personal journey starting with a misdiagnosis of clinical depression at 13, which later turned out to be a thyroid dysfunction that was missed at the time. From there, Orla shares her experience navigating mental health, self-harm, an eating disorder, and how this shaped her understanding of the connection between trauma, the nervous system, and the body.
We explore shame, relapse, emotional patterns, and what it really means to do the work beyond intellectual understanding. Orla also breaks down somatic therapy, nervous system responses, and how stress and emotional cycles can show up physically in the body.

In Episode 19 of The DMC podcast I am joined by a dear friend John Stack.
These episodes constantly remind me of the power of deep conversations and this one is no different.
John and I talk about how much we’ve both changed over the years, the realities of growing up in small town Ireland where emotional expression wasn’t always encouraged, and how life has a way of pushing you into the growth you didn’t even know you needed.
John opens up about a really difficult period in his life after suffering multiple concussions, the anxiety that followed, and what it was like to feel like everything just stopped overnight. We speak honestly about mental health, the importance of speaking up, and how the right people around you can quite literally change everything.
We also dive into the power of routine, consistency, and learning what actually serves you (and what doesn’t). There’s a lot in here about self-awareness, doing the work, and how growth isn’t always linear.
John shares his journey from Ireland to the US and now Australia, the lessons he’s learned along the way, and how those experiences have led him to create his own business, Off Peak, something built from lived experience in his career and a genuine desire to give back.
This episode is about resilience, perspective, and keeping going even when things feel heavy. It’s about friendship, vulnerability, and the conversations that remind you you’re not alone.
If you’re going through something, feeling stuck, or just needing a reminder that things can shift this one’s for you.
Please show John some love on his new business venture https://www.instagram.com/offpeak.au/

In this episode, I share a raw honest conversation about my experience with miscarriage.
It has been reported that 1 in 4 women, will experience miscarriage and sadly this is not something that I was aware of. More and more I am realizing that these figures are inaccurate and that in fact, miscarriage happens more than we care to admit. So why are we not having more conversations around this topic?
I will always be an advocate that you should do what feels right for you, but please know that you should not feel shamed, or silence when it comes to experiencing this kind of loss.
It doesn't matter how far along you were when you experienced loss it is hugely significant and it should not be suppressed.
Today I want to highlight the importance of not facing this alone. It is too big too carry by yourself so lean on those around you.
This is my story and it is important to highlight that we each have different experiences of loss, but in listening to my journey I hope that you feel a little less alone.
If this episode brought up anything difficult for you, please know you are not alone. Miscarriage and pregnancy loss can be deeply painful experiences, and support is available.
If you feel that listening to this conversation has stirred something in you, reaching out to someone you trust or to a support service can help. Speaking with people who understand pregnancy loss can make a difference during a time that can feel incredibly isolating.

In this episode of The DMC Podcast, I am joined by my dear friend, Christina Glynn.
Christina’s story is one that will move you, as she shares her journey through life so far, from navigating the loss of both her parents, the heartbreak that comes when sickness enters the home, and the long, quiet road of grief that follows.
She talks openly about living with profound loss while life keeps moving forward, and what it has been like to experience pregnancy during this difficult season without her parents.
This conversation is raw, honest, tender, and at times unexpectedly light, reminding us of the role humour and friendship can play in getting us through our darkest moments.
Christina has been through so much and remains one of the most resilient people I know. Her story is a reflection of love that doesn’t end, the strength we find within ourselves, and the healing power of being truly seen and supported through deep, meaningful conversation.
I hope you enjoy this very special conversation

Episode 16 of The DMC podcast is a solo ramble inspired by a video I seen on social media which really struck a cord and spoke to me so much.
If you are interested in watching it you can find it below it https://www.instagram.com/p/DSHSrfaDfJS/
I digest this video and how healing and constant self improvement has showed up in my life and I am so aware that this is the case for many others.
I reflect on coping strategies during grief and coping strategies in general.
It is a reminder that it is not the thing itself but the why behind it that we need to contemplate.
I hope you enjoy.

This is a little personal chat about me getting engaged over the Christmas Holidays.
I share a little bit about that special moment in my life, whilst also reflecting on the reality of being human and how we can hold both beautiful and challenging times together.
I hope you and enjoy and as always you can connect with me further on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/jw.healing/
Happy New Year!
As a new year begins, I invite you to meditate with me for a few minutes- hold off a moment before you race and rush with setting goals and adding more.
See this as a period of transition, a chance to catch your breath and take stock of your feelings.
Sitting with our feelings can be one of the most challenging things we can do, as often it gives a space for things to arise that we have been avoiding.
It is learning to witness these feelings and sensations, allowing discomfort and not trying to force or fix.
I hope you enjoy and remember to go gentle. Now is not the time to be rushing and racing ahead.
Thank you for listening.
As Always you if you wish to connect with me further you can find me on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/jw.healing/
Today’s Deep Meaningful Conversation is with the wonderful Claire Fealy (@clairefealymindsetcoach)
Claire is a Mindset Coach based in Ireland, and someone who truly understands what it feels like to lose yourself in the twists and turns of life.
She’s moved through her own seasons of overwhelm, perfectionism, anxiety and burnout and instead of letting those experiences define her, she’s allowed them to guide her and deepen the work she does with others.
From a young age, her nervous system lived in fight-or-flight, and she learned to attach her worth to achieving and being “perfect.” As an adult, she’s been gently unravelling all of this, and that inner work has shaped her into the grounded, compassionate coach she is today.
In our conversation, Claire shares her transformative journey and speaks openly about perfectionism, anxiety, burnout, and the constant pressure to always do more. Her honesty is such a reminder that healing isn’t about fixing ourselves, it’s about coming home to who we actually are.
We explore self-worth, self-love, redefining success, and the power of deep meaningful conversations to help us feel less alone. Claire has such a gift for helping high achievers release stress and make more room for joy, ease and genuine happiness in their lives.
This episode is full of gentle insights, real talk, and the kind of conversation that stays with you long after you’ve finished listening.
If you want to connect with Claire and explore working with her you can find her here - https://www.instagram.com/clairefealymindsetcoach/
Welcome to another episode :)
This is a different kind of episode but one that I am oh so excited for!
In this episode I invite you to take a few moments to yourself, as I share one of my poems with you in a meditative way. it is something new that I am trying so please do let me know if you like it.
I haven't really given this poem a name and often its not something I do, as I don't sit down to create these things they more so just come to me if that makes sense.
Writing is something that anchors me through challenging times and I find using words in this way just helps me to process.
This poem is essentially about the rollercoaster that is life and the constant transitions between the ups and downs, along with the undercurrent of uncertainty that flows through it.
I won't say too much more but I do hope that you enjoyed this and I really hope to share my poetry more in this way going forward.
So relax for a few moments and take it in, you are so deserving of your own time x
