The DocCast Pod

How is new alternative media entering documentary filmmaking? How can alternative media make documentaries more engaging? Does alternative media change the very nature of documentary filmmaking?

These are some of the questions we are exploring in this week’s episode of the DocCast. Join to hear your hosts M, Vic and Pilvi discuss alternative media through three documentary films: The Perfect Neighbour, My Sextortion Diary and do not track.

The discussion includes analysis of the central themes of the films, responsibilities of a documentary filmmaker and what makes a successful documentary.
