For anyone that doesn’t know, Ollie’s best friend, Ali Turpie had a stroke on the 10th December that left Ali without any words.
Not even his own name.
And now, we’re left speechless because Ali - in under 6 months - has defied science and every doctors prediction in his recovery.
Ali has learned to speak again. Despite being told it was going to be nearly impossible for him to speak again.
He and his loved ones have been through some of the darkest dog days they’ll have to face but it’s Ali’s spirit, belief in himself and view on the world that’s got him to the point that we’re talking on a podcast together.
And we think there’s a lot for all of us to learn from because of that.
We hope you ENJOY this one. Its powerful, special and deep...

What? The definition of masculinity has moved on since the early 2000’s. With the rise of male suicide and cases like Sarah Everard, the spotlight shines brightly on masculinity as a subject.
Why? Who and how should men show up to be? What’s unacceptable? How do we want our sons to behave? What can we do to lead by example?

RELATIONSHIPS - Are you in one? Do you want one? How's it going? How are you showing up?
Who? Ollie, Jack, Josh & Pooch.
What? Whether or not you’re in one, leaving one, getting in to one, thinking about having one, we’ve all had a relationship affect our life.
Why? Because we want to build relationships that bring the best of US out and we understand it’s a journey of self awareness and compromise of getting there.

AND WE ARE BACK!
Ladies & Gentleman, its been a long time coming - 8 months to be precise, but more than ever we are ready to bring you all things relating to life, its struggles and how to get through them together. Of course, discussed in true Dog Days fashion.
Ian McKenzie is currently taking a hiatus from the show and focussing his efforts on 'FC Not Alone', while Junior Eldstål is playing football professionally again in Thailand. In the meantime we have a new Co-Host for this 4 part series. His name is Jack Simpson. We cannot wait to deliver you his contributions and life experiences to the show.
In this episode we are joined by an old member of The Dog Days - Josh Connolly. We talk about all things Internal Family Systems. Delving into the mind of one another to work out why we act in the ways we do towards others because of our sub-personalities.
Internal Family Systems combines systems thinking with the view that the mind is made up of relatively discrete sub-personalities, each with its own unique viewpoint and qualities.
We hope you ENJOY!
Stay tuned for next weeks episode on Addiction!

In this episode Ollie and Ian sit down with The Dog Days co-founder and former co-host Junior Eldstål as we discuss Junior's struggles with his mental health.
We're very proud of how open Junior is about his struggles since returning to England.
There are references to suicide in this episode and there is strong language used throughout.
Hope this helps someone else out there.

This week, we went allll the way to Bombay to catch up with the Maverick minded, scrappy, hilarious Jonathan Augustin. Writer, Director and salesman of Indian Drama: The Lift Boy.
From studying advertising at Bournemouth University to selling his first movie to Netflix, we learned a lot about Jonathan.
What do you get if you add Hope + Enthusiasm together and divide them by humble kindness...
Jonathan.
Enjoy!

We met Sky Sports News presenter and host of the Bio Hacking podcast Zestology, Tony Wrighton.
Tony’s interviewed over 300 people to understand exactly what our body needs to be in an optimum state. So... we chatted about that. We also tried (again) to work our exactly what NLP is. We think we’re getting nearer to understanding it... It’s NOT hypnosis.
