Welcome to today's episode on rebooting in the credit repair industry. If I were starting over today, my primary focus? Leads over software. Despite running a successful credit repair company and moving into software development, I've learned that no software alone can account for success. It's all about generating leads.

Reflecting on my journey, the accolades and memberships in exclusive 'millionaire clubs' were nice, but not the result of any particular software. These tools, while useful as CRMs for client communication, highlighted a crucial lesson: without leads, there's no business.

So, how would I approach this restart? First, by harnessing the power of online platforms like YouTube, creating long-form videos, and repurposing content across TikTok and Instagram. The goal? Keep it authentic and relatable. Second, by focusing on local engagement. Online, you're competing with the world, but locally, the competition narrows significantly, allowing for valuable face-to-face connections.

Beyond lead generation, my strategy would include a passive system to handle the backend work, avoiding the complexities of contracts, bond requirements, and regulatory compliance. This system would free me up to focus on what matters most: building a robust lead pipeline.
