In this episode, I dive into my travels to Phoenix Arizona with my family. I feel as though our mental health is just as important as our physical health. The look of travel during the pandemic has really changed because the airports themselves look like a ghost towns. Normally, the airports are filled with people traveling from city to city and country to country but now you can count the number of people inside them. I also dive into the settlement that Breonna Taylor's family is due to receive from the wrongful death lawsuit from Louisville. Lastly, football is back and I discuss how the NFL now looks and operates during the pandemic.

Lovecraft Country is a new HBO show that I'll be recapping weekly. Based on the 2016 novel by Matt Ruff, Lovecraft Country horror series written by Misha Green and co-produced by Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams. It's based in the Jim Crow era of the 1950s. This story follows a young black American solider "Tick" who travels across the segregated country of the 1950's in search of his missing dad. On his journey to finding his dad he encounters several roadblocks that almost cost him his life. This show is a mix between Sci-Fi and Horror which gives thrilling action and great dialogue. Come along the journey with me for the weekly recap.

In this episode, I talk about how NBA players made a bold stand and boycotted their playoff games in the bubble in Orlando to support Jacob Blake.  We're unclear when or if the NBA will return for the remainder of the playoffs at this time. Players are tired of the police brutality against our brothers and sister across the country and demand change. Many organizations such as the WNBA, Tennis, and MLB decided to take a stand as well in support by postponing games. More details are still coming out about the shooting that took place in Kenosha Wisconsin. Until we know more please take care of yourself, hug your love ones, and tell them you love them.

In the finale episode, we kicked off the episode at the church where everyone is there to pay their respects. There were a few loose ends that needed to tied up coming into the season. The writers came into this season with their hands tied behind their backs with the two main characters departing the show. Kiesha is wrestling with a huge decision after returning home from being kidnapped. Emmett and Tiff are on their road to marriage and their journey down the aisle is on full display.  Pastor Stanley Jackson is finally paying for the things he's done in the dark. Kevin is struggling to cope with a massive family decision. Trig was offered a job after attending his custody hearing for his little brother Jake. The big question is will he take it.  Season 4 hasn't been announced yet so until it is enjoy the final episode of this series. Thank you so much for clicking the play button and giving me a chance to share with you my thoughts about the show over these past several weeks.
