Brigitte previously worked as an investment banker before moving into corporate communications in-house. Thereafter, she set up her current business; Rent a PR. Her company is disrupting the PR industry by offering an alternative to the retainer-led approach and is changing how entrepreneurs establish their voice and launch/elevate a brand.

In our seventh episode of The Dot Connectors, we met with Ömer F. Güven - Co-Founder of Fintalent. Fintalent is what our host describes as a 'no brainer start-up business', as it is an invite-only hiring and collaboration platform for M&A and strategy professionals. In a nutshell, it connects clients to individual investment professionals, who are not only cost effective and available straight away, but also have first-hand experience of an array of deal-types. We spoke to Ömer about generational differences and whether the current model of studying and then spending many years crafting a career in an investment bank will be right for Millennials, but also Gen Zs who are markedly different when it comes to how they function. Ömer also talks about the path that he thinks budding investment professionals should follow in order to gain the right experience, but to ultimately have more balance in their lives. A fascinating discussion between two individuals who have followed very different paths in life.

In our sixth episode of The Dot Connectors, we had the pleasure of interviewing Carsten Sennov, Managing Partner of SennovPartners, who is a business advisor as well as a working board member for one of OMNIA's portfolio companies. Carsten has, without doubt, had a fascinating and hugely enriching life as a high-flyer in the corporate world, transforming businesses and breaking into new markets around the globe, as well as being an entrepreneur, running a world-renowned training business, with his dear late wife Anni. If this wasn't enough, he is a published author and keen sportsman. An episode not to be missed!

In our fifth episode of The Dot Connectors, we had the pleasure of interviewing a member of the OMNIA Global team - James Findlay, who is our VP of Investment & Finance and based in New York. We spoke about the reality of a career in investment banking, through to James’ current role with OMNIA and what a typical day looks like for him. We also asked James to make some predictions for 2022 when it comes to the global financial markets. Not to be missed!

In our fourth episode of The Dot Connectors, we had the pleasure of interviewing not one, but two entrepreneurs; Jackie Skye Muller and Marlon Muller of Recreational Habits, who are bringing the exclusive world of the preppy elite and their hobbies to the historically excluded. Jackie and Marlon believe that all people - regardless of colour, should be able to experience the joys of recreational sport and living, from equitation to golf, to hosting and galas. Recreational Habits is both a content platform and designer of sporting apparel that is stocked by the likes of Farfetch, Browns of London and Fivestory.

We talk about Jackie and Marlon’s respective backgrounds in fashion and finance; working as business partners (as well as being married to one another); advice to entrepreneurs who start off on one path in life and decide they want to do something else; and the importance of building a business that has purpose and a social aim.

In our third episode of The Dot Connectors, we had a fun time interviewing Taylor Ablitt, the CEO of Diply, the world's second largest entertainment website, about the ups and downs of being an entrepreneur. He quashes many assumptions made about successful entrepreneurs and has amassed a huge amount of wisdom and insight, which he talks about at length during this episode.

We also talk about his experiences of securing funding; how entrepreneurs can 'growth-hack' their way to success; and finally, Taylor's 3 predictions for the social media and content world over the next year.

In our second episode, we had the pleasure of interviewing Wolfgang Krohn, CEO of Ventum Dynamics (VD), about his rather interesting background leading up to him joining VD, which has developed its very own wind turbine – a game-changing turbine system that can be installed on residential and commercial building rooftops, regardless of their location. We talk about the business in more detail; how the business will achieve its goal of ‘clean energy for everyone’, and we are then joined by our CEO, Daniel Hansen, who talks about the energy sector from an investor/funding perspective and what is hot right now.
