On today’s episode, Matt welcomes back the man behind one of the most popular Twitter accounts in all of Buckeye Nation, @BuckeyesCrootin’s Shane Bailey. The pair talks about updates on the No. 1 player in the 2024 recruiting class, South Carolina quarterback Jayden Davis and how the chess pieces might move around in the years before he signs a national letter of intent.
They also talk about the weird lack of BOOMs on the defensive line and whether or not Christian Miller, Caden Curry, or Hero Kanu could change that trend. Then, at the end of the show, Shane goes off on how much he hates noon games, and how they impact recruiting; from the lack of juice to making it difficult for recruits to travel to Columbus.

In episode 118 of Bucketheads, Connor and Justin are back to recap a busy week for Ohio State men’s basketball. Once thought to be key returners and pieces to the 2024-25 team, Felix Okpara and Roddy Gayle Jr. are officially no longer Buckeyes.
Okpara entered the transfer portal over the weekend after originally saying he would be returning to Columbus for his junior season. We discuss what the Buckeyes need to do now with two spots available moving forward and how to fill those after losing Okpara and Gayle.
In the second half, we welcome John Fanta from Fox Sports to talk about all things Ohio State. We talk about the hiring of Diebler, why it was a great move by Ross Bjork, the Buckeyes three transfer additions thus far, and how he sees the Buckeyes performing next season.

Bucketheads Podcast: Welcoming back John Fanta of Fox Sports and Roddy Gayle is heading to TTUN

Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Podcast Network’s I-80 Football Show. On this show, we travel down I-80 to talk all things Big Ten Football. This is the only Big Ten Podcast that’ll cover all 18 teams. After every week of action, we will catch you up on all the conference’s games and look ahead at the matchups, storylines, and players you should be paying attention to for the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host Dante Morgan.
The guys are back and there is a lot to talk about. The spring transfer portal is open and while there are not many key Big Ten players in the portal the portal isn’t going anywhere. The NCAA just approved unlimited transferring which means players finally have free movement. While we agree that the players should be able to move freely Jordan thinks there needs to be a few guidelines in place to protect the players. Most of the players who transfer more than once are not going to be headed to the NFL, what obligation does the NCAA have to protest them academically?
The NFL draft is around the corner and there are a bunch of current or future Big Ten schools represented in the first round. Led by USC’s Caleb Williams the top of the draft will have representation all over the board. Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. and Washington’s Rome Odunze are at the top of the boards while Penn State’s Olu Fashanu is one of the highest-rated offensive linemen in the draft. It may be a bit of a reach if you ask us but Michigan JJ McCarthy is projected to hear his name called in the first five picks! Stay tuned as the Big Ten will be heavily represented in the top ten picks. 
The NBA playoffs are here, does anyone have a chance to stop the Nuggets and Celtics from making the finals? Plus are Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic on track to be better than LeBron James? Dante thinks so.

The Buckeyes and head coach Jake Diebler has secured a commitment from Kentucky center Aaron Bradshaw, a former McDonald’s All-American, and the No. 4 overall recruit in the 2023 class. We talk about Bradshaw's fit on this team and how he works next to Felix Okpara.
Also, the Buckeyes secured a commitment from Northeast Ohio five-star 2025 guard Marcus Johnson, the cousin of Meechie Johnson. Johnson is a huge pickup and the first five-star to come to Columbus since D’Angelo Russell.
