I used to think knowledge was pure power. Then I got rear-ended, and suddenly I knew too much- about how fragile we are, how fast things can go wrong, how little control we actually have. Now that knowledge is both a gift and a curse. It makes me prepared, but it also keeps me up at night. This is the double-edged sword of being informed: you're empowered by what you know, but you're also crippled by the fear that comes with it. In this episode, I'm talking about finding grit in the anxiety, being gutsy enough to stay informed, and being gangsta enough to not let fear win. You can be aware and still be at peace- I'm just figuring out how.
