We are back with another community episode; where one of our listeners from the Double Knotted Community come on the show to talk sneakers.

On this weeks episode, our guest Terence Thomas is not a sneaker head, hypebeast, or streetwear enthusiast, but he is an average consumer. He is a former Division 3 NCAA College Basketball Player who traded his sneakers for a stethoscope. He’s currently enrolled in Med School to accomplish his goal of becoming a doctor.

Terence recalls the basketball sneakers he wore throughout his career and shares a hilarious story about Torres in middle school. We discuss how important comfortable sneakers are in a professional setting.

On august 7, 2021, the WAFA Invitational is hosting their 3rd annual charity basketball tournament. Terence and his long time best friend Mac Deng started the tournament to bring the Long Island community together and raise money for those in need. This year the proceeds will go towards pediatric cancer research.

Torres and Kyle dive into why some sneakers are extremely overpriced and under-valued in the aftermarket. They give their viewpoints on why they would pay resell for certain pairs and no for others.
