This week we head to Ontario Canada and speak with Halima Hossinzehi, a Baloch masters student whose love for editing pictures and sports came together beautifully earlier this year. After a picture she posted went viral and was the focal point of an article published by Vogue Magazine, Halima found herself receiving messages from around the world about her story and the impact that it had. As Baloch people started to reach out and feel represented, Halima now had a platform in which she could provide more representation not only for Baloch people but also women around the globe. We discuss growing up in Canada, her connection with her cultural identity, and what she hopes to accomplish by promoting her culture and people on a global scale. We also talk about the common bond of both being Baloch and how it has impacted me and inspired people like me around the world to be proud of their heritage.
