In that position, Secretary O’Mara served as the state’s top natural resource official, and led the state’s efforts to conserve and restore wildlife and fishery habitat, improve air quality and public health, ensure access to clean water, expand outdoor recreation and environmental education opportunities, and enhance the state’s resilience to extreme weather and other climate impacts.

When O’Mara was appointed in 2009, he was the youngest state cabinet official in the nation. He spearheaded a range of initiatives, including Delaware’s "No Child Left Inside"/ Children In Nature campaign, a comprehensive strategy to introduce children to the outdoors; the First State Trails and Pathways Plan, a multi-year initiative to expand and connect the state’s trail system; and the Delaware Bayshore Initiative, an effort to establish the region as a world-class conservation and outdoor recreation destination for hunting, birding, fishing, hiking, canoeing, and kayaking.

O’Mara lives in Delaware and spends every possible moment in nature fishing, hunting, hiking, and birding with his wife Krishanti and daughters Riley and Alana.

Peter Abrams, is a 22 year old award-winning comedian and musician, author, speaker and entrepreneur who found his lucky break by working and becoming the mentee of Russell Brand. BOB YARI is the producer of over 40 motion pictures. Some of these include Best Picture Oscar winner Crash, The Illusionist, the action-thriller Hostage, starring Bruce Willis, Matador, starring Pierce Brosnan, and Painted Veil, starring Edward Norton and Naomi Watts. Yari also recently completed his second directorial effort with Papa: Hemingway in Cuba. From the time 13 year-old Marilyn Kirby first picked up a guitar, a Kay her brother bought with Green Stamps, she has been writing material to suit her strong, bewitching voice and unique outlook on life. Growing up in Newton, Mass, Marilyn Kirby was fully immersed in the ‘hippy scene’. As part of a band called Catharsis, she opened for Cream in Cambridge in the late 1960s.
In 1968 she moved to NYC. She formed Marilyn Kirby and the Black Cat Band (John Putnam, Jerry Solomon and Andrew Caturano) in the late 1970s. Well into the 1980s, the band was a favorite in the New York area at clubs like Folk City, Home, Nobody’s Chin Chin and The Red Rail. Over thirty years later, her former band mate, John Putnam, played an integral part in the making of ‘Year of the Phoenix’.

The 1983 music video “Blondes” that Ms. Kirby made in NYC is a cult classic. She is a fearless entertainer, captivating audiences in numerous live venues, including the Theatre for A New City, Club Helsinki and The Colony. For the past five years, she has been a part of the Celebrate Woodstock Tribute Show in the Greater Boston area; privileged to perform for its 50th Anniversary of Woodstock show in 2019.

Ms. Kirby’s instrument of choice is a beat up old Telecaster that has "that sound" à la Keith Richards on the ‘Raindogs’ album by Tom Waits. Her songwriting is strong and honest, telling stories that will move you to cry, dance, and everything in between, as she rocks to out to each song with her belting, beautiful voice.

Currently residing in Woodstock, NY, Marilyn Kirby is a solo artist, as well as a member of a trio and a band. She also does music therapy with patients with mental illness and dementia.

Steven J. Spence is a retired US Air Force veteran, airline mechanic, aircraft builder,
and an owner of a real estate rental investment company. Throughout his military and
airline careers, he taught airline safety to groups around the world. Spence grew up in
poverty with a single mom, who immigrated from Germany with her American military
husband only find herself alone with two young sons in the wake of a divorce. With no
