In this episode of The Dr. Aimee Podcast, Dr. Aimee flips the script and pulls her co-producer and JourneyWell co-owner, Tim Simmons, out from behind the camera for a real-talk conversation about artificial intelligence.
This show usually lives at the intersection of health, wellness, and faith — mind, body, and soul. So where does AI fit in? As Dr. Aimee puts it, it doesn't just relate to one of those areas; it overlaps with all of them. From running a business to rebranding, learning, and staying curious, AI has quietly become part of everyday life, and this episode helps you get a handle on it.
Whether you're AI-curious, a little nervous, or somewhere in the middle, this beginner-friendly conversation will help you feel more confident about where to start.

Dr. Aimee Russo-Mounger joins Dr. Meghna Dassani, "the sleep dentist," on The Healthy Sleep Revolution podcast for a rich, honest conversation about energy, sleep, stress, inflammation, and the science of natural peptides.
Together they unpack the difference between natural and synthetic peptides, how peptides communicate with the body at a cellular level, and why supporting the body's own healing matters. Dr. Dani also offers an important clinical distinction: peptides are discussed here as a complement to, not a replacement for, proper sleep apnea treatment like CPAP or oral appliance therapy.

Carrie Kavanagh drank for thirty years without ever hitting the kind of rock bottom people expect to hear about. She had the career, the kids, the church. She also had a bottle always going in the fridge so she'd never have to count.
She joins Dr. Aimee to talk about gray area drinking — the woman whose life looks fine from the outside and who starts at five every afternoon. What the progression actually looks like, why she didn't want AA or the label that comes with it, and what she did in the first month instead of drinking.

Brittany Boudreaux spent 20 years climbing the mortgage industry ladder before realizing it was the wrong ladder. Then God asked her to cancel the retreat she'd built, refund every ticket, and start over — expecting five women. One hundred and twenty showed up.
Brittany joins Dr. Aimee to talk about why so many Christian women are quietly alone, what it costs to take the mask off, and how the R3 retreat and Kingdom Table were born out of obedience she didn't have a plan for. They get into surrender, comparison, calling, and why partial obedience is still disobedience.
If you've felt a nudge toward something you don't feel qualified for, this one is for you.

Ever been told your bloodwork is "normal" — but you still don't feel like yourself?
The unexplained weight gain around your middle. The fatigue that coffee can't fix. The irritability, the brain fog, the sense that something shifted in your 40s and no one can tell you what. In this episode of the Dr. Aimee podcast, functional medicine expert Dr. Lynn Duhe explains why conventional lab ranges miss what's really happening in your body — and what root-cause healing actually looks like.
Dr. Aimee and Dr. Lynn dig into hormones, perimenopause, gut health, thyroid function, and metabolic health, unpacking why so many women are dismissed by the conventional model and how integrative and functional medicine takes a whole-person approach instead. From the truth about estrogen and progesterone to the surprising role of cortisol, gut health, and hormone optimization, this conversation is a roadmap for women who want to stop guessing and start testing.
Whether you're navigating perimenopause, menopause, or simply want to age with strength and vitality, this episode will change how you think about your health — because the body was built to heal. You just have to know what season you're in. 🙏

About Spencer & Marylee Mounger ▾
Spencer and Mary Lee Munger are the founders of The Well, a faith-based fitness studio in Baton Rouge built on the belief that true wellness goes beyond the physical — encompassing faith, mind, and spirit alongside the body. The couple got married in April and launched the business shortly after, building both their marriage and their studio at nearly the same time.
The name "The Well" was born out of prayer and scripture — inspired by the biblical story of the woman at the well — and reflects their vision for a space where people feel loved, seen, and heard, not just pushed toward a fitness goal. The Well partners with local Baton Rouge ministries, including Restore Purpose Ministries (RPM), a sober living and reentry program, reflecting their broader mission of community impact beyond the gym floor.
