Morgan Lyons is the Founder and Creator of Growing Beyond the Books. At the start of the pandemic, she was a fourth-year ELA teacher, who was devastated to be out of her element- in the classroom. 

While home, she became engrossed with the Enneagram. Her research helped her better understand herself and the tendencies she has. 

Morgan learned how she handles stress, success, communication, collaboration, conflicts, and structure/organization. These qualities DIRECTLY  impact the classroom

When schools were reopened, she quickly realized that people were not the same. Educators need support and NOT just with the curriculum. This is when Growing Beyond The Books was born.

Laura Steinbrink, a teacher for 27 years, presents technology and instructional practices at workshops locally, around her state, and nationally. She is also an educational consultant. Laura teaches Pre-AP ELA 10 and freshmen English for the Waynesville R-VI School District. Will Deyamport, III, Ed.D. is a District Instructional Technologist for Hattiesburg Public School District, serving grades K 12. He is also a digital transformation strategist, writer, and podcaster. Prior to taking on a full-time instructional technology role, Dr. Will was a social media strategist for a career development company. He is best known for his work in assisting educators in going digital and has helped teachers leverage the power of technology to reimagine the learning experiences of their students. 

In 2016, Dr. Will was one of three educators selected as a Mississippi Spotlight Speaker at the Mississippi Educator Computing Conference and served as a Schoology Ambassador from 2015 - 2018. Locha Brooks is the founder and CEO of 1st Class Educator. One of the leading school consulting firms providing staff development and assistance to educational organizations. Staying on the leading edge of the latest practices and trends in education, Locha attends several conferences and workshops to better assist clients. Now, with the help of her 1st Class Educator team, she continues to lead professional development initiatives on various topics from cultural competency training, behavioral intervention and support, classroom management, beginning teacher assistance and beyond.
