Dr. Marissa Layton is a Doctor of Strategic Leadership and the Founder and CEO of Next Level Consulting. Dr. Layton and her team provide strategic solutions for mid to large size enterprises around the world who need assistance in strategic development, operational effectiveness, and leadership training.

As a global business manager, Dr. Layton missed out on the opportunity to work with small businesses. She started coaching and creating digital products as a way to service new and aspiring entrepreneurs. Sherry St. Clair is the founder of Reflective Learning LLC, an educational consulting agency based in Kentucky. Her organization works with schools around the world, creating specialized training and coaching services for school administrators and educators. Additionally, Sherry serves as a Senior Fellow for the International Center for Leadership in Education and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. She holds a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership, as well as a Rank I in Instructional Supervision. 

As an international consultant, Sherry draws from her rich experience at various levels of public education–teaching elementary school, being an administrator in a high school of 1,300 students, working as a state consultant, and creating and facilitating virtual courses. Will Deyamport, III, Ed.D. is a District Instructional Technologist for Hattiesburg Public School District, serving grades K-12. He is also a digital transformation strategist, writer, and podcaster. Prior to taking on a full-time instructional technology role, Dr. Will was a social media strategist for a career development company. Naomi Thomas is an entrepreneur and advocate for diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. She is the Founder of The STEM Station, an EdTech startup creating innovative learning experiences to attract and retain minorities and women in STEM.

She previously founded Boss Business Market, a full-service digital marketing company for organizations, and their leadership. Naomi’s journey began at 6 years old when she built her first computer. She explored the STEM fields by enrolling in the LEAD Computer Science Institutes at UC Berkeley and UVA. In high school, Naomi learned HTML and started a web design company. This venture continued throughout college until it evolved into BB Market. As a 2013 NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Award recipient, Naomi helped coordinate “IT is for Girls”, a week-long summer camp at UNC Greensboro. As President of UNCG’s STARS Computing Corps, she founded a nonprofit project called MyTechLife which introduced hands-on educational technology to K-12 students. During the Fall of 2015, she raised $30,000 to hold fun and informative events in Greensboro, NC.

Throughout college, Naomi worked with Google as a Student Ambassador and with Noregon Systems Inc. as an IT Intern and Digital Marketing Analyst. At the same time, she remained active in the startup scene and placed in several competitions including the WBENC National Student Entrepreneurship Program in Austin, Texas and winning UNCG’s Entrepreneur of the Year. She was also selected as a speaker for the 2016 Ci2 Tech conference, hosting 325 high school girls in Houston, Texas.

Naomi has been honored as Charlotte's Top 30 under 30, 2018 and is extremely passionate about using her voice and past experiences as a guide to help encourage other young women and minorities to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
