The Dr Zeus Experience

September is a concert month and movie month of epic proportions.

September 20, 1934 Sophia Loren was born and Into her 7th decade of acting I pay homage to the vitality and presence that still graces us today on film.

Today while watching msnbc I was inspired by the energy of Jenifer Lewis as it reminded me of Auntie Mame. Many have tried to capture the essence of Mame Dennis but so far only Roz Russel 1907-1976 has accomplished that feat. Who’s next ?

Once I’ve dived into this film I’ll give a more accurate description but tonight I present to you the findings of why Downton Abbey is addictive and our pro at the shade… Maggie Smith.

Released on Vinyl on September 17, 1996 and cd in October 1996; I discuss the legendary album that brought Tool into the forefront of a new era.

Tonight I honor what would’ve been Lauren Bacall’s 98th birthday. She had the look and had a long career on stage and screen.

From the Emmy’s to musicals that bend the rules.

Golden Girls premiered today, September 14 1985. And today I also honor Amy Winehouse, Nas and Fred sonic Smith on their birthdays.

Tonight I honor Jean-Luc Godard 1930-2022 and dive into Sundays show with a full setlist.

I’m still on a concert high but the Emmy’s sucked.
