On this episode of The Drinklings, we discuss the Thanksgiving classic film, Planes, Trains and Automobiles. As this is one of the few films giving a nod to the holiday of gluttony that isn’t based on cartoons nor Native American historical re-imaging, we all agreed that this film remains a must-see for many different reasons. Apart from the film, we also discuss the fears of a big city, how to deal with people in general, and the correct use of the Oxford Comma. Furthermore, we analyze the benefits of Thanksgiving and how it is interpreted in today’s society. Our drink for this episode is the Automobile, and we were served by the wonderful Maddi and Camry at the always excellent Nama in Carrollton, GA.
