In hour 3 of The Drive, Zach and Phil share the good news from the Broncos in week 1. Jonathan Cooper led the NFL in pressure rate, are the guys encouraged by the Broncos pass rushers? Zach ask the question, why would a good running back want to play for the University of Colorado? Zach points out that CU has continued to show they will not stick to the running game and won’t give the RB’s many carries. The guys react to Coach Prime saying that offensive lineman don’t necessarily want to run block over pass block. Is Pat Shurmur the right coach for an air raid offense that CU is running? Now that Jamal Murray has signed his extension with the Nuggets, Zach want to raise the expectations for him, not lower them.
