In hour 3 of The Drive, Phil, Richie and the guys compete in our weekly trivia competition with the morning show. We hear gripes from the morning show on the difficulty of questions. Will we be able to beat the morning show’s 1-3 performance from yesterday? We react to a Bleacher Report article predicting JK Dobbins as a disappointment this season. Does Phil agree with the idea that Dobbins could be a trade or release candidate before the end of the season? We react to ESPN’s Paul Finebaum stating that Deion Sanders has nothing left to prove at Colorado. Does Prime still have to go out and prove himself as a winner this season, especially with the loss of Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders?

In hour 4 of The Drive, Phil and Richie rank the coaches in Colorado based on how much pressure they are under. How secure is Sean Payton with the Broncos after just two seasons? Could David Adelman be on the hot seat in year one, if the Nuggets decide he’s not the right guy for the job? We react to Major League Baseball discussing a salary cap for the sport. How would a salary cap impact the Rockies and would owner Dick Monfort be in favor of a cap? We wrap up the show with DenverSports.com’s John Davis joining the show to discuss the trivia “beef” with the morning show.

Hour 1 of The Drive kicks off with Zach and Phil cross talking with Aniello and Danny. The guys discuss Phil’s early tee time this morning and Zach playing Arrowhead yesterday and running into former Bronco Justin Simmons. Zach and Phil react to ESPN’s grade of an A- for the Broncos off season. Do the Broncos deserve this high grade with moves like signing Evan Engram, DJ Jones and adding to their already stout defense? We hear from Michael Porter Jr. with his goodbye video to Denver and Nuggets fans. Zach points out some interesting things MPJ said including not knowing Jon Wallace had been appointed GM and wanting a bigger role on the team. Did the Nets call the Nuggets for the MPJ trade or were the Nuggets shopping Porter Jr.?

In hour 2 of The Drive, Zach and Phil react to Deion Sanders’ time at Big 12 media day yesterday. Was Deion in the right to be defensive about someone asking about his health? Will Colorado have a “better team” even after losing Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter in the draft? Does Coach Prime and CU have a built in excuse with a lack of resources and NIL money if his team underperforms this season? Will Deion be able to continue his success of getting talent to come to CU?

If they could keep one individual Broncos player healthy for the whole season, who would the guys choose?
