Hour 1 of The Drive kicks off with Zach and Phil cross talking with Stokley and Josh by reacting to Sean Payton’s press conference today. What were their major takeaways from Payton’s mood? Today’s “Three Count” includes the streaking Rockies, Coach Prime getting a bonus, and Team USA narrowly beating Team Germany in their final game before the Olympics start. We finish up the hour with a game of “Bronco or Bravo” where Phil and company guess whether a name belongs to a fringe Broncos player of a reality tv star.

In hour 3 of The Drive, the guys examine the NFL’s Top-100 list and look back on Phil’s appearance on the list. Where will current Broncos fall on the list? Phil also looks back on his decision to join the Broncos as an undrafted free agent. Zach and Phil give their hot takes for “Hot Take Tuesday”. Phil predicts each of the three QB’s will make a start during the preseason, while Zach predicts Greg Dulcich to have a healthy training camp. DenverSports.com’s Cecil Lammey joins the show to breakdown the running backs and what they each bring to the table, the QB competition and Cecil’s interaction with Coach Payton from today.

Hour 2 of The Drive dives into the biggest storylines heading into Broncos’ training camp. How will the QB competition shake out? Will Bo Nix be “given” the job? Who will emerge from the wide receiver room? Today’s “Three Count” includes a former Bronco retiring, the Rockies handing out one of the biggest signing bonuses in history, and a former CSU basketball player standing out in Summer League. Phil and Zach question if we will see Courtland Sutton at Broncos training camp without a new contract and if does show up, will he be a full participant?

Hour 3 of The Drive reacts to Jamal Murray’s lack of playing time with Team Canada so far. Could something be going on behind the scenes with Murray and his health? Are two Broncos running backs from last season fighting for the final spot in the running back room? Why Phil thinks the most recent Bronco RB drafted could be on the outside looking in. With the addition of Russell Westbrook to Denver, are the Nuggets primed to climb that championship mountain again? ESPN’s Paul Finebaum linked Coach Prime to a potential open USC job at the end of the year. Would USC be a good fit and be able to lure Prime away from Boulder?

In hour 4 of The Drive, Zach and Phil preview the Broncos training camp and discuss the biggest storylines heading into camp. How soon will Zach Wilson be ruled out of the QB competition? What does Bo Nix need to show in camp to be the week 1 starter? If Courtland Sutton decides to sit out of training camp until he receives a new contract, will he rub the fans the wrong way?  Another Rockies player was immortalized in the Baseball Hall of Fame this past weekend, who are the next great Denver athletes on the way to join the Hall of Fame?

In hour 1, they dive into some news coming out of Canada’s national basketball team, and how this could affect the Nuggets moving forward. They do a dive into the Westbrook news and how the move changes the roster. Is this a winning roster? What are the best ways to use Westbrook? Also are there any players on the Broncos roster that could achieve milestones no Bronco has hit since 2018?
