  • [7} Deep Dive into the State of Apex

We got a deep dive into the state of apex legends. Numbers are down and the “apex is dying” articles and videos have arrived. Nothing but no-good Clickbait we say! So this week Xobbes takes a look at every aspect of the game’s development and reception to make the case that the games doing just fine. Players who love this game and want to see it grow have nothing to worry about.

We kick off by quickly covering the LTM Legendary Hunt dropping any moment and the recent news promising us challenges and more battle pass rewards. Then we got the history of Respawn for you and its probable relationship with EA. Apex is being developed for mobile so we expound on its significance toward the future of Apex Legends. 5th generation consoles are around the corner and that complicates developing for a live service game. Afterward, we look at twitch metrics and compare to other battle Royale games as well as our standing amongst established long running communities. Then Xobbes gets angry about Drop-In bullies. • [4] All Hail the POWERCURVE

King’s Canyon got balanced and Xobbes and Essdii are here to discuss recent changes in our Apex Legends Podcast. Wingman and Peacekeeper got nerfed and Bangalore was slowed down. But more importantly, Respawn released its first patch notes with plenty of information on their design philosophy, the rate of patch notes, and building weapons on a “power curve.” Wondering why the Mozambique and P2020 are garbage? Blame the power curve.  Plus, we talk battle pass possibilities The battleBrothers will keep on keeping on, so suit up and drop in.
