The Dry Ground Podcast: Exploring Ancient Scripture for Today

Welcome to Episode 14 of The Dry Ground Podcast! In this episode we have the great privilege of interviewing our guest Michael Burns. He is a Kingdom Teacher in Twin Cities, Minnesota. He is well known in our fellowship for his work on race and culture. He has a great book titled Crossing the Line: Culture, Race and Kingdom. He and his wife also do workshops all over the globe on this same topic. He is also a dynamic Bible teacher and historian. He comes to us in this episode helping us understand the dating of the Exodus and offers some compelling evidence for a theory of Egyptian history known as the 'new chronology'.

As well, what is with that mysterious pillar of cloud and fire? We will talk about it. We see the sea part and the Israelites walk out of Egypt untouched on 'Dry Ground'! What are the factors important to interpreting these numbers? We are talking roughly 2 million Israelites bolting from Egypt during the Exodus. It seems like a logistical nightmare. Hey there, welcome back! This is Episode 5 of The Dry Ground and fair warning; we are going into the weeds!

It’s not uncommon during any venture into the Old Testament to run into some content that just throws you off or feels to lofty to get your head around.

In this episode, we are going to discuss the Divine name of God and this super sketchy story about…the bridegroom of blood!

Don’t worry; we aren’t going into this amazon of ancient text alone. We wanted to bring in an expert and a brother who we trust to bring his Hebrew Bible A game.
