THE MOVE
There are some decisions in life that simply change your plans, and then there are decisions that change everything. For our family, The Move was one of those decisions. We left Dallas, Texas and relocated to El Paso, Texas, and along the way we've been asked a lot of questions: Why did you move? Why El Paso? What happened? How has it been? And what have you guys been up to since you got here? In this episode of Dudes to Fathers, I'm finally sitting down to share that story — the reasons behind our decision, the conversations and uncertainty that came with moving our family across the state, and what our first year in El Paso has actually looked like. This isn't the polished social-media version of the story; it's our experience, our perspective, and the beginning of answering some of the questions we get asked most often. Because sometimes a move isn't just about changing where you live — sometimes it's about family, opportunity, taking a chance, and having enough faith to take the next step even when you don't know exactly where it will lead. So welcome to The Move. I'm Jacob Ortega, and this is Dudes to Fathers.
🎩 DadGang Hats
If I'm not wearing a Dallas hat, there's a pretty good chance a DadGang hat is on my head. I genuinely love these guys and I'm thankful they created something that gives me a sense of pride when I'm walking around wearing it.
