In this special episode, Tracy introduces a waking vision he had that appears much later in the book. In the unusual times of COVID-19, we hope the story of this vision will provide comfort. We also wish everyone a blessed Passover and Easter season!
Tracy reminisces about how different his new life was in West Virginia. Then, while Tracy and Freddie visit their Mom in DC, an accident at the Moody house changes Tracy's life again that gives him a new perspective on life.
Tracy fills us in on what a difference moving out of DC and in with Granny and Moody made on his life.
Tracy talks about the relief he felt living with his grandparents. Then Tracy decides to attend a new church, and Granny decides how the boys can spend their free time. Granny's first edict begins Tracy's study of Martial Arts, and the next is a new responsibility, Bonnie, who is pictured here.
In this episode Tracy recalls what really went down about staying in DC or moving back to West Virginia. What happens changes his life, and Tracy's plan gets a course correction.
Tracy goes into detail how the Tall Shiny Silver Figure kept His promise and what his experience was like 'painting the vision and making it plain'. Then, when Tracy goes to Granny and Moody's for the summer he learns of his grandparents' decision, and the new beginning shapes the rest of his life.
We are in a pivotal moment. Once Tracy realizes more about the Tall Shiny Silver Figure and how He could help him, things change. Likewise, in this episode, rather than foreshadow what is next, Tracy fills in the blanks about what you just heard.
After reuniting with the Tall Shiny Silver Figure, Tracy experiences how much the Tall Shiny Silver Figure wants to be an integral part of his life, and how amazing that is. The photo is Tracy in the 6th grade holding the picture of the vision he drew with His help, which won an award.
Tracy is brief, and describes a point in his life that helps him make a major decision.
As Tracy and Freddie grow up, Tracy laments about the farm and the change he sees in Moody. Tracy and Moody also talk 'man to man' about Vera's second husband Bobby. After the incident with the bikes, Moody decided never to be in the same room with him, but what Bobby does next is so evil the Tall Shiny Silver Figure literally comes between Tracy and Bobby, and Tracy is forced to choose.
