This week we take a look at WOTC Wonders of the Multiverse - Unearthed Arcana Part 2

In WOTC's latest Unearthed Arcana, we explore D&D character options from across the multiverse. This playtest document presents the glitching race; the Fate Domain cleric subclass; and the gate warden, giant foundling, planar philosopher, and rune carver backgrounds. Additionally, a collection of new feats provide links to giants and other primordial forces of the planes, while a selection of new spells highlights the power of fate and chance.

Character death happens, the risk of death is a necessity in building drama and a sense of danger, but do not cheapen it by missing an opportunity to make the loss of a character great, epic, and cinematic!  You’d be surprised at how character death can be player pleasing.

“Fairys, they’ve been a part of our Homebrew world for close to 15 years, from the Gutter Fey of Prenojine cities to the Elflings of Sandsea to the Fairies of the Wylderynn.  They are a widespread species in Heimurrin and have always been a playable race.  Dust off your wings students of the Dojo, because we are delving into Dash’s people, our favorite fairy as portrayed by Syn, from An Acorn’s Journey:  A DMD Story.

Let’s talk Kobolds but not the kind of kobolds that you’re used to. Were talking about the Heimurrin’s kobolds. You’re going to meet one such kobold in “an acorn journey, a DMD story.” This kobold, of course, is the samurai Longwei. F you meet him, you will soon realize that Longwei is very different from how you may imagine a kobold. In Heimurrin, they are quite different than those of the forgotten realms, Mystara, or any other Dungeons & Dragons campaign setting you may have come across. Perhaps, there even different than those in your homebrew world.
