The DVD Show

We talk more about the current news and rumblings in the PBA. (Recorded before CJ Perez trade though) There's a ton of Gilas talk as well, as they prepare for their next three games this February. The Dean also gives his take on the 2023 FIBA World Cup, along with news on Kai Sotto and Kobe Paras.

In the first part of this two-part special, Quinito Henson shares his thoughts on the conversation he had with Tokyo 2020 Olympics Sports Director, Mikako Kotani. He also gives his outlook on the Filipino athletes possibly representing the country in the Olympics. The Dean also discusses the effect on the athletes of the cancellation of UAAP Season 83, along with his assessment for the DLSU Green Archers for Season 84. With many looming decisions for the players, The Dean has answers for all of these questions:

Are Melecio and Baltazar returning for their final season? What's the future of the Green Archers squad? Are the Gomez de Liaño brothers staying in UP? How about Ricci Rivero?

We'll be talking with Aaron Black, as he discusses his story on being the lowest draft pick to win the top rookie award in the PBA. He also talks about growing up under the guidance of his father, his playing days at Ateneo, and his AMA and Mighty Sports stints.

We'll be talking with Andrei Caracut, as he shares stories from his early days in Lucban, Quezon before being recruited by San Beda. He elaborates on each playing year he had with DLSU and how that prepared him for his Alab Pilipinas stint. He moves onto the next chapter of his career, as he has applied for the 2021 PBA Draft.

We'll be talking about the basketball career of Justin Chua, starting from his Chang Kai Shek and Ateneo days. He also talks about his struggles at the professional level, before finally being the starting center of the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters.
