  • The Hope: Psalm 116:3-4 - S3-E8

    Season 3 Episode 8 - The Hope: Psalm 116:3-4

    As we reach the end of our season on Suicide and Hope, we still urge those who are depressed and are thinking of suicide to seek professional help. You must remember that you are loved by your family and friends and you matter to them. This season has been filled with content to help and encourage you. However, I leave you with hope. Hope in God and hope in our lives, for God knows our every struggle and with us as we walk that journey.

    The cords of death entangled me,
    the anguish of the grave came over me;
    I was overcome by distress and sorrow.
    Then I called on the name of the Lord:
    “Lord, save me!”

    Psalm 116:3-4

    Call out to God for help!

The P.A.Ls attempt to bring these phrases to discussion with the hope of getting more people talking about their suicidal thoughts. We remind our listeners that no problem is large for a loved one to handle with the suicidal person. No one should walk in this pain alone, we all need each other.

  • Be the Action - S3 - Ep 5

    Season 3 Episode 5 - Be the Action

    During this episode myself and Robert discuss a FaceBook post under the hashtag #22aday. These posts shed a vivid picture on suicide and how hurting people take their own lives because they don't know any other way out. We are asking all who either deal with suicidal thoughts or know someone dealing with this mental illness to seek help. Suicide is not the answer to a temporary problem. To all the caregivers, listening and being the action is our only plea.
