Synopsis: This discussion brings to light what faith and vision look like on display. We often get clouded in judgement and overlook what God is calling us to do. When we have a faith rooted in actively building a relationship with God, that faith leads us to obedience and that obedience leads us to the vision He has for our lives. Meet the Guest: This married duo has been married for over 21 years and have three children together. The Brooks family live in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Chiaki has been in education for 15 years and has had her LLC for her bakery since 2016. Kevin has been in law enforcement for 22 years and has spent the last five years as a School Resource Officer. The couple both own Chic by Chiaki, Cakes and Confections which is a local baker in Thibodaux and serve several parishes. This couple is a prime example of faith on display looks like even with ups and downs. They consider themselves servants for a greater cause.

Meet the Guest: The 29-year-old, is a native of Louisiana being borrowed by the state of Florida. Jean Guillory is a husband and father of two. Jean and his wife Mandee are both musically talented individuals in their own rights. They both have a band called ‘Day Like This.’ They just released a single “Fan Into Flame.” Jean writes music, produces music, and he dabbles in some creative writing. Jean is an all-around awesome person who loves the Lord. Fun fact about Jean is that he is a New Year’s Baby!

Ryan Orgeron II is a native of Thibodaux where he resides with his wife and daughter. Ryan works as a dietitian for South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority helping people with their nutritional needs. During his free time, he is at his gym, coaching locals, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts either on waits or eating healthier. Ryan is a great friend and soon, he will be launching his podcast called the Lifted Podcast.

July 31, 2020 Love not Hate, and the Meaning of Words
This episode is a discussion on which lives matter and what does it mean to the Christian body of believers. Although this episode is opinionated beliefs, it still follows the Christian teachings based on biblical ideology and principals that have worked or centuries.

#blacklivesmatter can be a group that just as guilty as perpetuating just at the KKK. We must learn to live amongst one another without using #adjectives to describe who or what we look like on the outside. As a reminder, my pastor once said "The man on the cross is better than the person in the mirror, always." When we learn to sit at the table with Judas, we will learn the love of Jesus Christ.

This country has its faults, two black eyes and a busted lip, but the healing begins when we all learn to love one another, and forgive their sins. We are all sinners and we all fall short of God's glory and we are all in need of a savior.

To my Christian brothers and sisters of a darker hue, please receive this message/discussion as way to orient you to a Christian thinking. I personally believe that BLM does not have the interest of all BLACK people at the front of their agenda. Don't you forget that Satan and hide behind an organization that appears to be good, however, it is pure evil manifested.

Luke Negron and I met on TicTok. Together the Pennsylvanian and Louisianan come up with this discussion as two different people, of two different ethos and of two different cultures. The one thing they have in common is the Love of Jesus Christ. Thats right, they are both Christians.
