Alicia had the honor of speaking with Kat Pratt who experienced sexual abuse and used food to suppress the trauma in her life. Thank you, Kat, for sharing your story and for how you are showing up to heal women that are dealing with their relationships with food.

Kat is a holistic coach who works with women to help them heal their relationship with food. She spent decades struggling with restricting and binging. She is certified in many holistic techniques including EFT, Reiki, Bach Flower Remedies, and STT. Kat came to realize that once the underlying issues were dealt with

it was possible to build a healthy relationship with food.

She created her End Your Toxic Relationship with Food course to teach women techniques that focus on identifying and healing the root causes of food cravings, emotional eating, and binge eating. She provides one on one private coaching, her group End Your Toxic Relationship with Food course, and on the first and third Wednesday of every month, she hosts an open free group call that focuses on wellness and healing.

Alicia had the pleasure to sit down with her dentist, Dr. Evy, and discuss how sugar continues to cause dental health issues for all ages.

Dr.Evy’s dental journey started at Brown University where she earned an honors degree in Human Biology and completed an independent research study on the access of dental care in nursing homes. She continued at Tufts School of Dental Medicine where she learned to treat the mouth as part of the human body and to focus on preventing problems rather than just treating them. After graduating she proceeded to complete two postgraduate programs from NYU College of Dentistry and Columbia University School of Dental Medicine.
