Tadej Pogačar conquered Il Lombardia for the third time and made history in the process while fellow Slovenian superstar Primoz Roglič joined him on the podium in his final race for Jumbo Visma before joining Bora Hansgrohe in 2024.

In an interesting week off the bike, Amazon has been rumoured to be a potential co-sponsor if the Soudal Quickstep and Jumbo Visma is fulfilled. Primoz Roglic is set to leave and will reveal where at the end of his season while Remco Evenepoel reportedly does not want to be part of the merger projects so he could be on his way to INEOS Grenadiers.

The European Championships in the Netherlands there was surprise winners in both the time trial and road race with Josh Tarling and Christophe Laporte. Jumbo Visma and Soudal Quickstep have also been rumoured to be merging while Nathan van Hooydonck sadly had to retire.

The Vuelta a Espana 2023 produced an unexpected winner and Sepp Kuss with his two team-mates Jonas Vingegaard and Primoz Roglic made it an all out Jumbo Visma affair.

The second week of the Vuelta Espana resulted in Sepp Kuss and his two teammates taking the provisional podium sweep for Jumbo Visma. And the team was equally as dominant in the Tour of Britain with Wout van Aert winning the overall and Olav Kooij winning 4 stages in a row. Arnaud De Lie won his first World Tour race in Quebec and Adam Yates won the GP Montreal.

On the day of the first rest day of La Vuelta, Sepp Kuss finds himself the unlikely leader of the race after attacks from Primoz Roglic and Remco Evenepoel but will Jumbo Visma complete the hat-trick of grandtour overall victories for 2023? Valentin Madouas won the Bretagne Classic 2023 and the Tour of Britain 2023 began with a bang for Jumbo Visma as Olav Kooij won the two first stages.

The first stages of La Vuelta began with rain being the theme and dangerous conditions for the riders. At the Tour de L'Avenir the Mexican Isaac del Toro was the surprise winner in a incredible fashion. The Deutschland Tour won by IIan van wilder and Tim Wellens was the Renewi Tour.

Mads Pedersen conquered the Tour of Denmark title once again and 24 hours later won the Bemer Classic in Germany. Primoz Roglic showed his form in the Vuelta a Burgos.

In the final part of the super world championships Belgium won the Men's TT and the Women's Road Race whilst Tom Pidcock was without rivals in the Mountain Bike Cross Country race and in the U23 race France were the winners in the men's. In other news Ethan Vernon heading to Israel Premier Tech.

It has been a busy week of racing, with the Tour de Pologne, the Tour de l'Ain and, of course, the UCI Road World Championships. On a brutal day on the streets of Scotland, Mathieu van der Poel of The Netherlands took the title ahead of his arch-rival Wout van Aert and Tour de France runner-up Tadej Pogacar in 3rd place. There's also been some transfer news as the market officially opened this week and Peter Sagan revealed his big retirement plans as a hotel owner.
