My next guest is a new musician to grace the many stages around Southern Alberta. Bailey Kate is a fresh voice that joins us in the booth to talk about her EP 'Electric Moments' and she tells us the story of how the EP came to be.
Community is important in her development as a musician and as a person. We talk about all the amazing community members that conspire to cultivate greatness within us and that have helped progress her natural music abilities. A teacher by day, she plays an active part in providing support to young developing students and takes much pride in her career. We explore where her passion for teaching began. Bailey so graciously shares what it's like to play all kinds of stages from the house concerts to the big fresh-fest stage, we also get deep and talk about how often we feel the imposter syndrome creep into our various careers.

This is the extended version of the Eclectic Radio Play from CKXU 88.3fm. Here you'll find strictly interview material and exclusive content.
Friday!! I'll be releasing this new Episode of the Eclectic with Abdullah Mousli. We talk about how he was forced to adapt to the stressful environments of war-stricken Syria and how he managed to respond to it all with relentless perseverance which lead him to the University of Lethbridge. Listen to his Inspiring story on The Eclectic!
When I think of celebrities or people that deserve recognition, It's easy to immediately think of people who are overtly recognized and celebrated for their accomplishments. This is a humble man, deserving so much more praise for his determined efforts to pursue his dreams of attaining higher education, at whatever cost. Of the many things he's had to endure such as war, constant fear, and insecurity, lack of basic resources, bombing, rejection, or anything of the sorts, nothing has come close to derailing his efforts in gaining an education. Another commendable part of his journey is his continuing contribution to the community even after finding refuge in southern Alberta, he continues to poor efforts to provide other Syrian families with employment through a catering company that he started WHILE IN SCHOOL!! Inspiring! Don't miss it!
Thank you, Abed for sharing your story! Thank you to everyone out there who've contributed to initiatives like WUSC (World University Service of Canada).
Ernest Offei Annor Joins us to talk about his latest and greatest brand: 'Don't Shout' clothing! He's a natural at marketing, having first-hand practice in digital marketing as a party promoter and with the Enactus group from the University of Lethbridge. I love our conversations, very comfortable and 'breakfast club'-like. Ernest is very agreeable, a natural conversationalist and knowledgable.
We talk about the meaning behind his 'Don't Shout' brand (Expression) and what drove him to start his own clothing line. I ask him how he gained a following on the many social media platforms he uses. Born and raised from Ghana, his support system and biggest influences (mother, family and friends) we're all pivotal in his success, knowing this we talk about the importance of community, some local events (HOUL Launch event October 4th in Lethbridge). EXCLUSIVE CONTENT RELEASE from 'Don't Shout' including upcoming hoodies and website release (@Dontshoutbrand on IG). Ya Heard it here first!!
